Mastodon
We've signed up for a new Mastodon instance that's intended to be used by people leaving Cohost. We signed up for a main account but also a secondary to replace the private account we had on Cohost. They have you say what your Cohost URL was on the section about why you want to join. I just really hope they don't see the things on our bio on the private account and reject us for it.
Good Luck!
I don't know how tolerant Mastodon is. Different instances may vary in that.
Dreamwidth tends to be tolerant, or at least, has privacy and moderation controls such that people can make a blog or community with whatever parameters they please. Here's a list of communities with themes that match what Cohost refugees are talking about. You're not the only person wondering if your traits or tastes will be an issue on some other site, but at least Dreamwidth has some pretty far-out stuff.
People from Cohost seem to be on the tolerant side, and there are communities on Dreamwidth that focus on them.
